The LANTERN is a portable disinfection unit that contains four angled UV-C bulbs, eliminating pathogens on any surface the UV-C light touches. The LANTERN can also be inverted and hung from the hook within its base to easily shine down on surfaces. This is ideal for disinfection of an animal transport vehicle. Anywhere the light touches will receive a high level of disinfection in mere minutes. In an 8’x8’ space, the LANTERN can achieve a 99% kill of most bacteria and viruses in one minute, and most spores in five minutes. The LANTERN can easily be positioned at different locations to allow for an efficient means of full facility disinfection. The LANTERN has an adjustable exposure timer and an adjustable delay timer to allow the user to safely exit the space being disinfected. Ideal applications include the vivarium, offices, transport vehicles, hallways, and much more.
