The FLASHBOX is a UV-C disinfection chamber with an adjustable timer. Sixty seconds of exposure to the light results in a kill rate of greater than 99.99% for most bacteria, viruses, and spores on any surface that the light reaches. The FLASHBOX features six UV-C bulbs and a quartz glass shelf for items to rest on, allowing 360 degrees of UV-C exposure on any surface the light reaches. Unlike traditional shelf materials such as plastic, plain glass, and wire (which block UV-C), quartz glass allows the light to penetrate through and achieve a high level of kill without any organisms persisting. The FLASHBOX is perfect for disinfecting larger items such as laptops, tablets, and cell phones. Some ideal applications include bringing items into a clean vivarium, use within the vivarium, or general office settings.

Notes: Six quartz glass UV-C bulbs are included, one on top, one on the bottom, and one in each corner (positioned vertically). The bulb life is 16,000 hours. Each quartz glass bulb is Teflon coated to prevent any shattered glass if accidental breakage occurs. Bulbs will automatically shut off when the door opens. The FLASHBOX is made with 316-grade stainless steel with UV-resistant polycarbonate doors.
